Take Action on Climate Change - Interview with Tom Schlesinger of the Climate Alliance on WXOW

Tom Schlesinger, Executive Director of the La Crosse nonprofit Climate Alliance for the Common Good, appeared on WXOW to talk about the importance of taking action to address climate change. He spoke with Carly Swisher, in an interview published on July 5, 2023.  "Climate change is one of the biggest threats in the coming century to people everywhere, and one of our slogans is local action global change," Tom Schlesinger said.  "...we can't sit back idly and wait for that to happen, so there's a lot individuals can do." He initiated the effort to talk about climate change with WXOW.

One way to get started is simply to start. From recycling to planting a few pollinator plants, any start is worth the effort. The Climate Alliance for the Common Good website, ClimateAllianceCG.org, has information about climate change and a top ten list of actions that individuals and businesses can use to tackle environmental change and protect our planet.
